Registration Advisor – Contract position
The Ontario College of Pharmacists, the licensing and regulatory body for pharmacy practice in Ontario, is currently seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist to join the College as Registration Advisor for a full time two year contract term.
The successful candidate’s core responsibilities will be to work within a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support the evaluation, development and delivery of the Structured Practical Training (SPT) program for students, interns and pharmacy technicians. The Registration Advisor will assist Registration Programs in its efforts to ensure all applicants have access to fair, objective, transparent and impartial registration practices.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting
- Experience in adult education and training is an asset
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify when discretion, diplomacy and tact are required
- Ability in dealing effectively with people of varied cultural backgrounds, in individual and group settings
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the College
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in dealing with multiple demands while maintaining composure without losing sight of desired outcomes
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new technologies
